Recently a party was held at Karjat to inaugurate the Ketan Mehta’s film ‘Colors of Passion’, which is based on the life of great painter of India Raja Ravi Verma. Maya Movies & Sootradhaar Banner’s Colors of Passion is directed by Ketan Mehta and produced by Deepa Sahi and Anand Mahendroo. This movie comprises a star cast of Randeep Hooda, Nandana Sen, Paresh Rawal, Dipti Nawal, Jim Boeven (Germany), Ashish Vidharthi, Sachin Khedekar and Darshan Jariwal.

Though there was a heavy rainfall, Faryas Resort of Lonawala experienced a grand inauguration party organized by Infinity FCS. People gathered in a large number to enjoy the party till late night. Director Ketan Mehta thanked and appreciated the effort of producers Anand Mahendroo and Deepa Sahi to put the life story of a great painter on the silver screen.

He said that it was my dream to portray the life of Raja Ravi Verma on the screen since I was a student of Pune Film Institute (FTII). And it has come true because of in the form of Colors of Passion.

Producer Anand Mahendroo said that he was so impressed the when director Ketan Mehta narrated the script of famous painter Paja Ravi Verma to him, and decided to produce this movie with out any second thought. Actress Nandana Sen, who is performing Raja Ravi Verma’s lover in this movie, says that whenever she used to listen about Raja Ravi Verma from her father Amatya Sen she used to be hypnotized by the character of such a great painter. It’s a great feeling to be a part of this project.

According to Actor Randeep Hooda its wonderful to be seen such a great painter on the screen. Even a common man can know about the great personality after this film and he appreciated the effort of both director and producer for such a great project.

This film is bilingual; it is named Rang Rasia in Hindi and Colors of Passion in English. Music is by Sandesh Sandilya, cinematography has been done from Germany. Production designer is Nitin Desai.

Director of the forth-coming film cash Anubhav Sinha and producer Anish Ranjan were also at the party to wish the cast and crew of the film ‘Colors of Passion’.

The shooting of this film is on fast track and will be completed soon to bring it to the audiences.
