Akshay Kumar has been paid a lumpsome Rs 11 crore for a forthcoming Percept Picture Company project directed by Nagesh Kukunoor.
Nagesh Kukunoor on his part is being paid Rs 2 crore each by PPC for helming Aashayein and Tasveer.
Preet Bedi, CEO, Percept Picture Company, is unwilling to talk figures. “The Bollywood success story is no longer related just to revenues from the ticket windows. With the overseas, satellite and other avenues collectively adding numbers, the volume of business has changed.”
