  1. Tamil Pokkiri is the remake of Telugu film Pokiri. Tamil is not the original but telugu film starring Mahesh babu directed by Puri Jagan is the original

  3. Please stop considering all the south indian movies as Tamil Movies. Telugu industry is much developed than tamil moviel.
POKIRI is a Telugu movie in original acted by Mahesh Babu and directed by Puri Jagannadh.
Differance is like Horse(Telugu Pokiri) and Dog(Tamil Pokiri).

  5. Original Pokiri is in Telugu and is much better than Tamil Pokkiri. You North Indians don’t know even the difference between Tollywood and Kollywood. And you treat all Telugus as Madrasis. It’s disgusting. STOP this

  31. Wow, this is so sad, everyone is ready to fight eachother to prove their
    superiority.

Anyways, I think the movie will do fine regardless of how many times it
has been remade, take Ghajni as an example. Now I havent seen the
Telugu or the Tamil version yet, but idk I have a feeling that these
movies might be inspired by some hollywood flick. Well, I guess we will
find out when Wanted comes out. Btw the title definitely sounds familiar.

To all you fans out there please be respectfull of each other, these actors
dont even know you and hardly care, they only show kindness towards poor
just so they can appear in news and media and gain some publicity.
I am not hating, I actually admire their talent and the work they do, so please
think before you write anything… just my two cents.. TC

  33. I had seen the telugu version of wanted which was titled pokiri starring Mahesh Babu and Ileana.., its simply superb.. The music and background scope from Mani Sharma was awesome.., but in Hindi its equally opposite, not even one song is good. Boney Kapoor didn’t get any other music directors except Sajid-Wajid..,
The music of the film should have been given to Pritam or
Vishal-Shekhar… I dont think wanted will work out for Salman Khan…….

is Tamil Pokiri?? haha.. ..Its Telugu Pokiri..Atleast we need to give the recoginition and respect for the Telugu ppl. for giving such a blockbuster to India..
Imagine we said the movie Hitch was made in English from the
original hindi movie “Partner” ?? Anyways gudluck for Wanted ,..
    Salman.

  39. He’s is Damn good in Wanted
i love that movies, it was just fabulous
i think this movie should get the best action film of the year award
as well as Ayesha was superb
    and asusual Salman rocks
if wanted doesnt get any award, than its clear that critics does
partiality with salman khan films, ignoring giving him awards

  43. The comment mentioning Telugu as Horse and Tamil as Dog is absolutely a stupid non-sense!!!! Vijay has done a great work in Pokkiri and Mahesh Babu sucks!!

  47. Maybe the desi versions mimic the telugu film pokiri, but isn’t the
telugu version loosely based off of “running scared” with Paul Walker?
Mahesh Babu sucks overall. Vijay rocked it in the Tamil version.
