When Shahid and Kareena saw the rushes of Boney Kapoor’s Milenge Milenge, they felt that Panini, Kareena’s co-actor made a very odd pair because he looked much older than Kareena.
They requested Boney to bring in another actor in place of Panini but he refused to do that. This had lead to the off-screen couple completely ignoring Boney for months.
When Boney finally made a visit to the Manali sets of the untitled film they were doing for UTV, the off-screen couple refused to meet him. Boney says, “They refused to meet me stating non payment of their dues. They are right in their own way so I have no complaints.”
