New series of ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’ZEE TV is set to launch a mega contest of its hit reality show ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa’, which will see contestants from previous series’ battle amongst each other.
According to India-Forums, the show will be called ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Mega Challenge’ and will air from October-end when the current run of ‘Lil Champs’ reaches its final. ‘Sa Re Ga Ma Pa: Mega Challenge’, will see three singers representing one state. In total, there will be eight states.
The online portal states, “This show will bring together the gems of Sa Re Ga Ma Pa and other musical shows of ZEE TV. The eight states which will be shown in the show are Rajasthan, Maharasthra, Uttar Pradesh, Madhya Pradesh, Gujarat, Assam, Kolkata and Punjab”.
“Rajasthan will have Raja Hassan and Priyanka Malya, while the third contestant is yet to be finalized”, informs a source at India-Forums.
“Vaishali Made, Rohit Shyam Rao and Kaushik Deshpande will represent the Maharashtra team, while Poonam Yadav, Twinkle Bajpai and Yatharth Ratnum will represent Uttar Pradesh. Sumedha Karmahe, Aamir Hafiz, Pratibha Singh Badhel will be in the Madhya Pradesh group, famous singer who has sung for Saawariyan Parthiv Goel, Deepali Somayiah, Prachee Shah will represent Gujarat. Assam will have Anamika Choudhury, Joy Chakraborthy and Abhigyan Das. Kolkata will see the likes of Sanchita Bhattacharya, Ujjaini Mukherjee and Abhijeet Ghoshal. Punjab will be represented by Rohanpreet Singh, Tarun Sagar and Mitika Kanwar”, further informs the source.
“Aneek Dhar was also to take part in the show, but he could not due to prior commitments”, adds the source.
