The film’s star cast includes Brian Cox, Greta Scacchi, Stephen Greif, Om Puri, Sadie Frost, Mikaal Zulfikar and Laila Rousas who is a Moroccan Indian actress popular in Britain.
The film emphasises on the quandary of the peace loving Muslims in the light of Islamic extremism. The story revolves around the incidents that were ignited as a result of Scotland Yard’s order to shoot suspicious Muslim terrorists after the July 7, 2005 London bombing.
Tariq Ali, played by one of India’s finest actor Naseeruddin Shah, is a Muslim Police Officer of Scotland Yard. He is ordered to hunt down suspected suicide-bombers involved in the July 7 attacks in London.
Things become difficult for Tariq as a guiltless Muslim is killed in one of the encounters. He is torn by the accusation made his colleagues on his honesty as he is a Muslim by religion.
