After the super success of Kaminey, Vishal Bharadwaj is back with a bang with his new project Ishqiya. Shemaroo productions along with Vishal Bharadwaj Pictures presents Ishqiya- starring Arshad Warsi, Nasseruddin Shah and Vidya Balan.
The movie revolves around two bandits Babban (Arshad Warsi) and Khalujan (Nasseruddin Shah), experts in world of crime, apprehension, passion and treachery. The two are on the trot from their chief Mushtaq.
In the mid of all this during their escape Babban and Khalujan decide to take shelter in the house of an old friend and instead come across his widow Krishna (Vidya Balan). From here on starts the love story between the three. Khalujan dreaming of the typical love that used to be in olden days and Babban visualising modern day a lustful love with Krishna.
Thus, Krishna (Vidya Balan) plays the love interest of both and enjoy the two’s company. However from here on starts the drama, action emotion, longing, voracity and revenge and the movie takes various twists and turns.
The movie has been based on the rustic life and sees Vidya Balan in a totally different role. Vidya Balan will be seen playing a multifaceted character with slight grey shades and speaking the U.P. lingo.
With such an experienced cast and classic direction by Abhishek Chaubey (has assisted Vishal Bharadwaj in many of his projects) as one can experience in the promos, expectations rise high from this movie. Moreover the music of the movie has been given by none other than super composer of Kaminey, Vishal Bharadwaj itself.
