EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Caught in the old style of film making, Ruslaan is a weak attempt to project a sensitive subject close like terrorism.
The storyline revolves around Ruslaan (Rajveer Sharma) who gets framed after a series of bomb blasts strike the city of Mumbai. The entire incident shakes up his life and love – Samaira (Megha Chatterjee).
The film falls prey to poor technical execution. All the parts of film making look weak, call it direction, screenplay, cinematography and most importantly the script. Music, too lacks continuity and every song is soulless.
Actingwise, Rajveer Sharma is average. Lack of good script shows the effect on his performance. Megha lacks acting skills. Asrani is timepass.
Overall, Ruslaan is a weak fare at the box office.
