After his forgettable first stint with acting, Sonu Nigam had pledged to stay away from acting. The grapevine is that he has signed a film, Aankhon Aankhon Mein.

Sonu will play the lead role of a blind singer. This time though, he is doing the film for the script that he read sometime back.

Sonu says, “Akashdeep, my friend was planning to do this film from quite some time. When he offered it to me earlier, I wasn’t quite interested. But when I read the script, I found it quite interesting.”
