Ram Gopal Verma is that filmmaker whose films once were considered to be mega hits before the release and once they used to be released, the long queues would be witnessed at the ticketing windows. But for quite some years, his films have not been well received. Very few get good scope and the rest face huge disasters. His movies once used to be laced with melodious catchy music to hum around but now very rarely you get to listen even a single track that you can hum it in your good mood. The same lackluster experience happens with his new flick’s soundtrarck, ‘Agyaat’. The composition has been scored by Bapi-Tutul.
1): Jai Shiv Bum Bum (Runa Rizvi)
Runa Rizvi opens the album with the number, ‘Jai Shiv Bum Bum’ with good vocal qualities. The track has Hinglish lyrics, which are not attractive at all. The song begins with slow tempo but within seconds, it gain tempo. The composition has nothing to rave about. Avoid it.
Rating: 1.5/10
2): Jungle Jungle (Jankee Parikh and Imran)
Follows next is, ‘Jungle Jungle’. Crooned by Jankee Parikh and Imran, the song features average renditions of the vocalists. The lyrics are poor and so is the music. So what should you do now? Obviously…go to press the forward button.
Rating: 1/10
3): Khoobsurat (Shweta Pandit and Vickey B. Joshi)
This number is rendered by Shweta Pandit and Vickey B. Joshi. Yes, they attract with the voices. This soft romantic song is somewhat better than the previous ones. The lyrics are not extraordinary but have some values. The music goes well with the flow of the track.
Rating: 5/10
4): Kiss You Day and Night (Earl and Banjotsana)
Earl and Banjotsana team up to warble the lines of ‘Kiss You Day and Night’ but do not impress with the renditions. When you begin to stay with this song, you start feeling as if you have heard it somewhere before. Yes, it does have a heard before feel attached to it. The lyrics…nothing special…. the music…. nothing great. So why to bear it?
Rating: 1/10
5): Kiss Mix (Earl, Jankee and Banjotsana)
It’s a racy number altogether having no good singing at all. The music is not appealing also.
Rating: 1/10
6): Na Koi (Shweta)
Basically it is an instrumental but features the voice of Shweta in some portions of the song. The number tries to be edgy but fails to register impacts.
Rating: 1/10
7): Sun Sakte Ho (Bapi and Keka Ghoshal)
The concluding track is ‘Sun Sakte Ho’ that stars the vocals of the composer Bapi and Keka Ghoshal. Both deliver the goods aptly. The lyrics appear to be good. The composition is spongy. Go for it.
Rating: 5.5/10
Conclusion:
On the whole, the soundtrack of ‘Agyaat’ is a big disappointment. Don’t waste your money on buying it.
Overall Rating: 1.5/10
