EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

The men in white Abbas Mustan have roped in talented Pritam to create the striking notes of Naqaab. The soundtrack is packed with 3 songs, which are represented in various versions. The lyrics are thought provoking and will help in the narration of the film. Pritam seizes this opportunity to present a sugary n melodious Naqaab. It is not a path breaking album, though it will survive on the music chartbusters list for sometime.

Ek Din (Singer: Javed Ali)

Rating: 6.5/10
The soundtrack opens with a love filled soft ballad. The intimidating sound of strunning drums, with the impressive voice of upcoming singing sensation Javed Ali is presented with the poetic lyrics written by Sameer. Pritam keeps the arrangement simple with soft music smoothing sinking into your mind.

Ek Din Remix (Singer: Zubin)
Rating: 6/10
The subtle romantic solo is followed by a remix version of Ek Din which has Zubin behind the mike. Zubin harmonizes with a racy rhythm to deliver a synthesizing remix of Ek Din. Have a ball with Ek Din.

Ae Dil Paagal Mere (Singer: Sonu Nigam)

Rating: 5.5/10
Sonu Nigam lends his voice to a ordinariy musical backdrop of Ae Dil Pagal Mere. The song carries the Abbas Mustan touch but fails to evoke enthusiasm among its listeners.

Ae Dil Paagal Mere Remix (Singer: Sonu Nigam)

Rating: 5/10
The remix version of Ae Dil Paagal Mere adds no glory to the already sustained track. The added pace is disappointing and the party mood lacks in the remix version.
