Director Vijay Krishna Acharya has messed up the entire story and extracted performances which have lead the entire flick into no man’s land. The film has revisited many flicks from the past including Hollywood ones to achieve the platform from where the train never moves on.
The only high point of the movie arrives when Akshay Kumar makes his raw entry into the scene but even that didn’t go well with the mentality of the director who worked well to worsen his part.
The film rides on the heroics of Akshay Kumar, if it rides! Saify has not much to do in the film and Anil Bhai goofs ups with Hinglish lingo. The action scenes are too tacky and one wants to get rid of them at the earliest.
Musicwise, one can certainly say that Vishal-Shekhar are almost lost in this one. The songs have failed to catch up with the audience. One reason being the lowline promotions of the film.
Focus is all that one requires to attain success at any level and this time debutante director Vijay Krishna Acharya has lost it. Glam and gloss is good but it is not the materialistic path to glory.
