Kamal Sadanah, producer of the remake of Victoria No 203 was pushed by Anupam Kher to make Sonia Mehra, daughter of late Vinod Mehra, perform tougher scenes in the film.

“Kamal in particular was not convinced that I could do it but Anupam Kher pushed him to take me in,” reveals Sonia, who will be playing Saira Banu’s role.

Sonia has performed on two songs, which were also in the original, including the classic Do Bechare, Bina Sahare.
