It seems friends and family come first for Bollywood superstar Shah Rukh Khan, as he has signed up long time friend Farah Khan’s husband Shirish Kunder as director for his big release of 2009.
Shirish Kundar, who debuted as director for the Salman Khan starrer Jaane-e-Mann, is to create a special effect spectacular for the film, which has been provisonally titled ‘Joker’.
The film will indeed star Shah Rukh Khan and contrary to the rumours this will not be a super-hero fantasy film. The movie will loosely be based on the Jim Carrey hit The Mask, and will see Shah Rukh Khan play a man of great skill and many talents, whenever he dons the ‘joker mask’.
Shirish Kunder’s wife Farah Khan is currently working with Shah Rukh Khan’s home production company for the romantic musical Om Shanti Om.

Shahrukh khan is not doing joker because SRK didn’t like the script
he wanted it changing but Shirish Kundar is know to be hard headed
and droped shahrukh khan to sign on Akshay kumar
by the way Shirish Kundar looks like Farah Khan’s son
