Slowly, Pammi starts losing hope and gets disappointed. Now blood relation comes alive and Simran vows to bring Ranjit back to his normal self. She has the support of her fiance Ravi (Chandrachur Singh), a folk singer.
Simran’s efforts pay off and Ranjit discovers the root cause of his pathetic condition. While Ranjit tries to fight the enemy within and Pammi tries to recapture the glorious moments with her husband, Simran is caught in the emotional dilemma between supporting her brother in his fight against his oppressor and fulfilling her marital commitment to the man she has tied the knot for life.
It is old dated product and you feel certain kind of uneasiness while watching the flick. The narration is in bits and pieces. The ends are loose and lost. Raman Kumar’s direction is out of place and pretty confusing. At times, it gets irritating due to the forced songs and an item number.
Anand Raaj Anand’s music is very average. There is no hope of it catching up anytime. Cinematography is inconsistent because of the delay in the making of the film.
Sanjay Dutt is certainly out of place in this one. Tabu plays her character well. Mahima Chaudhary is efficient. Chandrachur Singh is expressionless.
Overall, Sarhad Paar may be the biggest flop of the year.
