Movie Review: Team – The Force
Director: Ajay Chandok
Cast: Sohail Khan, Yash Tonk, Aarti Chabria, Amrita Arora, Sayaji Shinde, Vrajesh Hirajee and Kulbhushan Kharbanda
Ajay Chandok’s directed venture, ‘Team – The Force’ is out starring Sohail Khan, Yash Tonk, Aarti Chabria, Amrita Arora, Sayaji Shinde, Vrajesh Hirajee and Kulbhushan Kharbanda.
The movie talks about Raj (Sohail Khan), Yash (Yash Tonk) and Jassi (Vrajesh), who are best pals. Their aim is to strike big in the music field but they are the ones, who are down on luck meter. At Baabe’s villa (Kulbhushan Kharbanda), they stay as paying guests. Sensing the honest drive for the music in these guys, Baabe offers them a timely financial help and produces their first video album. As soon as they start getting joys, they have to face disappointment when the underworld don Raman Shetty (Sayaji Shinde) begins making extortion calls to Baabe, as he wants to unsurp his lavish villa. How these three friends turn the tables on the underworld don and what the hilarious consequences ooze out during their encounters with the don form the rest of the story.
The story is very poor. No interest element is found all over the story. The screenplay is simply ridiculous. Admit, for these types of films, one should not use one’s mind to watch it. But at least there must be something with which the viewer can enjoy.
The director Ajay Chandok disappoints hugely. The man should learn the techniques of making a better film. He seems to be lacking in the art of filmmaking. If he wants to make a comedy, he had better have a grip over the art.
Amongst the stars of the film, no one impresses at all. Sohail Khan and Yash Tonk simply irritate the audiences. Amrita Arora and Aarti Chabria have been roped in to spread glamour in the film. Rest of the cast is mundane on their jobs also.
Want to waste your time and they money, which is very hard to earn these days? If so, then go and watch it. If not, then stay at home and spend the leisure time with friends.
