Recently Arshad Warsi sustained serious injuries when a reflector fell on his head, when he was shooting Rohit Shetty’s Sunday in Delhi.
The actor, who was shooting at Agrasen Ki Bauli , (located near Barakhamba Road it is a heritage monument), had to be treated at a nearby hospital before he could resume shooting for the day.
Talking about the mishap, Arshad says, “We were just getting ready for the day’s shoot. I was standing below the monument. Suddenly, I felt a brain-numbing impact on my head. Later I realised that a reflector had landed on our assistant director and me. Thank god, we escaped the ordeal only with external bruises on our head.”
Says Arshad, who is presently shooting in Hyderabad, “It was extremely hot and the place had an eerie feeling. The reflector was firmly placed at the roof of the monument. I don’t know what led to the fall. It’s so strange.”
Ever since then, Arshad has been complaining of regular headaches and is still not quite himself. He says, “What has added to my woes is that I’m getting headaches every morning. I have to get a scan done as soon as I’m done with this last schedule.”
Arshad plays a not-so-well-informed tourist guide in the film.
