Saif Ali Khan and Vivek Oberoi arrested in New York…
Saif Ali Khan, Kareena Kapoor and Vivek Oberoi are shooting in New York for Rensil D’ Silva’s film, ‘Qurban’. Both Saif and Vivek landed into big trouble when they were about to get arrested while shooting for the film.
A close source reveals the whole saga, “Vivek and Saif were shooting in a hilly region in New York. It was a scene where both the actors had to drive a car and the camera was placed quite far as it was a long shot. The actors kept driving for a long time as they were required to give various takes as the scene was being shot from several angles. However, the locals, who had no clue that a film shoot was on, started getting suspicious when they saw the two Indians driving around aimlessly. They wasted no time in calling the cops who immediately came and started questioning Vivek and Saif.” After questioning from the police, both the actors cleared the policemen that they were from India and represented Bollywood and they were shooting for a film. But the cops did not hear them. How could cops believe in their statements, as there was no crew member and cameras around?
The production team saw the situation on their monitor, as they were sitting far away to shoot this sequence. One of them came to rescue them and it took almost 10 minutes to reach there. In between, the cops were fully ready to arrest the actors on suspicion and all set to take them in the nearby police station.
The unit member got them free from the police at the nick of the time.
