I have to say, APNE is a brilliant film, with so much emotions attached u wont be disappointed, u have to see it to believe it, shilpa is okay, but its about the deols. Best film by far so far this year!!!!!!
Shilpa’s presence in this film could draw some Westerners into the theatre, but not many would sit through it. Shilpa has a bit part, and Apne is nothing but hokey drivel. Shilpa needs to avoid this type of junk, and look West.
If Rocky and Raging Bull’s are western classics, then Apne is an Eastern classic. Awesome movie, quite an experience. Shilpa does not have a meaty role but Deols are simple superb. It is going to be ranked among Indian classics.
best film of the year i must say dharamji still rocks nobody is near to him..he is fantastic…everone shud watch this movie a must for good movie lovers…

This movie rocks thanks to all the Deols awesome performance. Dharm is the heart of this movie not Shilpa. She has only a small part in the film. To think that Shilpa carries this movie is joke. There some real haters out there for the punjab de puttars.
Dharmendra has reversed the table on Amitabh Bachchan.I was gettign tired of AB’s fun dude dad characters. Indian fathers are not like that and don’t have to be like that. Then came APNE! Wow! Dharmendra is now in a position to give us performances that will remind us of thespians like Dilip and Sanjeev Kumar, all forgotten by the media because they do not pay money like some.
IF THERE IS A WAY OF COME BACK. DHARMENDRA HAS FOUND IT. GARAM DHARAM IS STILL THE MAN. I HAVE BEEN HIS FAN SINCE I BEGAN WATCHING HINDI MOVIES. TO SEE HIM BACK ON THE SCREEN IS A DREAM COME TRUE. DHARMENDRA IS THE TRUE LIVING LEGEND OF BOLLYWOOD CINEMA.SUNNY HAS NEVER BEEN BETTER AND FINNALY BOBBY HAS MADE A STATEMENT THAT HE IS THE SON OF THE BOLLYWOOD HE MAN.
DHARMENDRA FIRST MOVIE WAS “DIL BHI TERE HUM BHI TERE” IN WHICH HE STARTED OFF AS A BOXER. HE ALSO MADE BOXING MOVIE SUCH AS “MAIN INTEQAM LOONGA” AND MORE. CAN’T WAIT FOR HIS NEXT MOVIE.
THIS IS A WONDERFUL FILM. WELL MADE WITH BRILLIANT SCREENPLAY AND DHARAM PERFORMS FLAWLESSLY. HE HAS HANDLED THE EMOTION WITH THE GREATEST OF EASE, COME ACROSS AS A GENUINE PERSON AND SINKS INTO THIS MEATY ROLE LIKE NO OTHER – I AM A HUGE AB FAN BUT IN THIS MOVIE, THERE IS NO OTHER BUT DHARAM WHO COULD HAVE CARRIED THE ROLE SO WELL. BEST MOVIE OF THE YEAR BY FAR. SHILPA IS EYE CANDY FOR ALL OF 5 MINUTES IN THE MOVIE!

NEVER! What a JOKE.
Shilpa doesn’t have a single box-office hit to her credit till today. Of course she has acted some of the hit movies but they are credited to the Actors.
Deols are always good especially Dharmji. He is a part of the Industry for more than 47 years and still going. He has given most number of hits than any other so called Superstars. Still he is not considered as Superstar. All the Media purposefully neglected him always. He will not go after the media also. Dharamji doesn’t know how to market himself. Still he has given hit after hits.
That is deols. They do not need publicity.
Please this is a request to all Media people. Do not make silly statements like “Will Shilpa’e presence effect Apne’s box office collections”.
