Dil Dosti Etc is a story of how the young men of today think and choose to live their lives. Dil Dosti Etc is set around students in Delhi University.
Smriti Mishra, who is remembered as the young Sardari in Sardari Begum (1996), plays Vaishali, a sex worker, in Dil Dosti Etc. the film is directed by Manish Tiwary . The film portrays her as having a very straight forward equation with her clients.
She is satisfied with her life until she meets Apurv, a rich, 21 year old, cosmopolitan guy played by Imaad. The pair gets to know each other and their relationship soon crosses from customer- prostitute into a man- woman equation.
