Bappi Lahiri, who has found renewed success after his compositions for “Taxi No 9211″ were runaway hits, says he was sentimental when he recorded a song for Abhishek Bachchan in “Guru”.

“Years ago I had sung for Abhishek’s father Amitji. It was a song titled ‘Aana Jaana’ in the film ‘Geraftaar’.

When I was called by A.R. Rahman to sing for Abhishek, I immediately went down memory lane, to almost 30 years ago, when I had sung for his father,” said the versatile composer-singer.
