The infamous kiss between Hrithik and Aishwarya in Dhoom2 is the reason why Hrithik Roshan and the Roshan family were not invited to the wedding.
This has lead to Hrithik refusing new films with Aishwarya in it.Anyways, the bachchan princess is going to appear with Hrithik in Ashutosh Gowarikar’s upcoming film titled “Jodha Akbar”.
She already had problems with Aamir Khan when she opted out of Mangal Pandey.

That’s an article?
I don’t no wat is tha reason 4 not inviting tha Roshan family 2 tha wedding. Hrithik is marry so is she wel goin to be..his not gonna stop tha wedding or anything. I don’t no but there is sumfing so wrong about Aish, anyway i don’t care if Hrithik doesn’t act wif her anymore there is plenty of our actresses that wil luv 2 act wif him..
that all i want to say..
Why is the onus on Aishwarya?. Why is everyone that were not invited so incenced that they were not invited?. You invite people you want to share this most precious day with & not people you feel that need to be there because you have to kiss ass. Good for Ash & Abhi to sticking to their guns. In case some people forget, Ash most certainly does not need any Hrithik, Shahruk or Aamir Khan to push her career along. Aish is too intelligent to think that she needs to be acting with any of these people to get good work. Who gives a damn why the Roshens were not invited?. Honestly the only thing Hrithik going for him is the pretty boy look. Besides you can only have 1 pretty face in a frame & Ash needs actors who have a manly look beside her (very much like her husband).
I agree hrithik is GOOD but to pretty
way to pretty .. people hating cause they weren’t there like… so wut…its sad they felt the need to give out sweets to those who werent..they ain’t rich if they didn’t inite you and you feel mad about it its like get ã life just be happy they happy. and they only mad cause they can’t say they were at the wedding of the year. boohoo . get over ur selves. congrats to bachchans once again and r.i.p. to teji Bachchan.
“THET AIN’T RICH”
I MENT THEY ARE RICH BUT DON’T MEAN THEIR HOUSE CAN HOLD CAPACITATE EVERYONE
Hrithik on Aishwarya Wub You
(2006 Jun) I was delighted to see her approach to work, to see her dedication and consistent focus. Apart from being extremely beautiful and attractive, she’s a thinking actor which I was pleasantly surprised by. I know it’s wrong for any person or actor to have these preconceived notions about somebody else. But I have to say that I had judged her wrong. I felt really foolish at that. Sometimes beauty just takes over so much of the other talents. She’s someone with a lot more mettle than just what shows on her face.

(2008 Jan) There’s lots of chemistry between Aishwarya and me, some of the most romantic scenes I’ve ever seen on celluloid but no, there’s no kiss. Aishwarya is my most favourite co-star ever. She’s completely selfless and gives her all to a film. She gave us tremendous support and is so sensitive to the concerns of her co-stars.

(2008 Feb) Aishwarya is one of the most selfless actors I have worked with. So, it’s great to work with someone who is not always concerned about her role in isolation as opposed to the big picture of filmmaking.

(2008 Mar) Aishwarya and I have shared a fantastic relationship right from Dhoom:2 and it shows on screen. There is no question of negativity. We have been selfless actors throughout the making. Aishwarya is a friend first and then a co-star. She is also married to my very good friend.
————
(2008 Mar) I can’t dispute that. It’s true. Ash and I share a good rapport. It’s always fun to work with a co-star who is not selfish. We gave so much of ourselves to Jodhaa Akbar. Aishwarya has been one of my most helpful co-stars. I really like working with her. She is an incredible actor and an even better co-star. Since all three of us – Abhishek, Aishwarya and I – are friends, we’ve great fun even when we are not shooting.

(2008 May) Aishwarya and I work very well together. We understand each other as actors a lot more now since we’ve had two films back to back [Dhoom:2 and Jodhaa Akbar]. Her most distinguishing feature as an actress is that she’s completely selfless. It’s easy to imagine that she’d be completely besotted by her own looks and obsessed with her close-ups and not concerned with the big picture. On the contrary, Aishwarya gives so much to every frame; as an actor, she instills the atmosphere with a sense of teamwork. She makes it very comfortable. I believe in the same approach, so I’m relieved to work with others who share that.

(2008 Jun) Aishwarya is a lovely co-actor. People liked us together in Dhoom:2, and now in Jodhaa… Let’s hope we get more movies to do together. It’s easy when you know the actors working alongside you. It makes the ambience less formal, more friendly, and that helps.
Aishwarya on Hrithik Wub You
(2006 Nov) I certainly enjoyed working with Hrithik. Yes, at one time there was a hesitation to cast us together because we were supposed to have similar skin and eyes. But when we finally shot together, everything fell into place. Actually, on the first day of Dhoom, there was a silence after we shot. And we were like, ‘Okaaayyyyy’. Then director Sanjay Gadhvi came up to us and said, “Everybody is stunned. You guys are looking awesome together.” Hrithik and I cracked up, because we remembered how we had first met at Vidhu Vinod Chopra’s house. Vidhu wanted to cast us together for Mission Kashmir and he kept telling us to look at each other. Hrithik and I were in splits.

(2008 Feb) Hrithik and I became friends on the sets of Dhoom because we were all part of a team working in the movie. Hrithik and (my husband) Abhishek grew up together. They were childhood friends and I instantly became a part of the team. The energy that we share, the comfort level that we share; I think that is what translates into chemistry on screen.

(2008 Mar) Hrithik has been a special co-star. We’ve shared a fantastic rapport that gets translated into wonderful chemistry on screen. We’re both genuinely committed to our craft. That apart, we share a special friendship from the time we did a commercial together many years ago.
