Sholay’s most famous song, Mehbooba Mehbooba currently shown in its remixed avatar has featured in promos of Aap Kaa Surroor.
But was originally slated for Ramgopal Verma Ke Sholay with Abhishek Bachchan and Urmila Matondkar in the video but has been used for Himesh’s film with Mallika Sherawat.
Our source close to the nasal twang singer-songwriter tells us, “Himesh shot Sholay’s Mehbooba Mehbooba with Mallika Sherawat at Mumbai’s Mehboob Studios on May 31st and June 1st with choreographer Saroj Khan.”
