Geeta Basra gave up her comfortable home in London, shifted base to Mumbai in quest of becoming a Bollywood actress.

Geeta says, “I dream of Madhuri Dixit and idolize her. I never thought I would get into acting. However, I used to watch a lot of Hindi movies which inspired me to plunge in this field.”

Geeta Basra made her debut with Emraan Hashmi in Aditya Dutt’s Emraan Hashmi starrer Dil Diya Hai. She also appeared in the recent release ‘The Train’, again with Emraan.
