Post Slumdog Millionaire, the international markets have started focusing on Bollywood and its stars. And after Frieda Pinto, do you know who will be the focus of the Hollywood film industry? Well, he could be none other than Farhan Akhtar.
This is what happened that his acting in the movie, ‘Fakir of Venice’ opened to rave reviews at the Indian Film Festival of Los Angeles. And this film is being rated as the global Indian movie. It is being expected that this film will churn out headlines like Slumdog Millionaire.
Farhan Akhat, the writer, director, producer and actor of Bollywood films, plays the lead role in the film. And in the international media, he has been described as talented, handsome and a brilliant performer in this movie.
On this, the excited Farhan says, “I’m truly happy with the reviews my film and I have been getting. I’ve been asked to get myself an agent overseas; which I may do.’’
He is currently working in a film, ‘Calling Kartik Calling’. After that he has another acting assignment. Once he is dolled up with them, he will start directing the films again. Don II will go on floors in 2010.
