EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI
Chain Kulli Ki Main Kulli is a half hearted attempt at making a movie which was expected to appeal to the soft hearted children as well as inspire thoughts in the minds of the youth.
The film works in parts and cannot be termed as a complete turn off. The audience of this film will find it hard to move till the theatre as there have been quite a few releases this year on a similar subject of cricket.
CK2MK does not stand in the elite group of cinema. It can termed as a ‘time pass’ flick, nothing less nothing more.
The plot of CK2MK revolves around Karan (Adil Badshah), an orphan. He lives in an old orphanage under the shadows of John Kakkad, a strict and ill-mannered warden.
Karan is a dreamer and he wishes to have parents and to become a big cricketer in life. He idolizes Kapil Dev. Bholu Dada, a loving old man narrates him tales of victory from the ’83 World Cup win.
