Nandita Das denies arranging screening for Rahul Gandhi…
 Recently we heard that Nadita Das showed her directorial debut, ‘Firaaq especially for Rahul Gandhi. But she denies the reports saying that she had not done especially for Rahul in Delhi.
The screening of this movie was held in Delhi. Nandita said that the screening was held in the city and the organizers invited Rahul Gandhi not me. She uttered that she was not aware of his coming at the event till the last minute. As per Nandita, Rahul just came and watched the film and obviously he loved it.
Nandita blames the media saying press used her quotes in different way.
Nandita says, “Some journalists asked me if I would screen Firaaq for Modi before the film’s release in Gujarat, and I replied why should I, I don’t need anyone’s permission to release it. I have always stayed away from politics and I would like it like that. Which party I support is my choice.”
Nandita is currently busy reading news scripts for the movies, she will direct and act in. She is very upset on the news about her afrair with Rahul Bose. She denies this report. She said that we had only good rapport and nothing else.
