Karan Johar takes the duo of Kajol and Kareena back on screen…
The trio of Karan Johar, Kajol and Kareena Kapoor was last seen in 2001 when Kjo had made the blockbuster, ‘Kabhi Khushi Kabhi Gham’. His desire to cast the two talented ladies together again in a film has fulfilled now, as he has cast them in his upcoming film.
The movie will be directed by Siddharth Malhotra, who is the grandson of late Prem Nath and the one who had produced the much-watched TV show, ‘Sanjivini’ and was behind the conceptulization and shaping of the show.
A close source told, “Kajol and Kareena have been finalised for Karan Johar’s forthcoming film, which will start once the actors are free from their on-going films.” The title of the movie has not been finalized yet but it is clear that the flick will be based on the Hollywood film, ‘Stepmom (1998)’ starring Susan and Julia Roberts. The film will go on floors once Kajol finishes with Karan Johar’s My Name is Khan.
Let’s wait to see the two talented women of Bollywood together on screen.
