1): Aalam Guzarne Ko (Sonu Nigam and Suzy Q)
The soundtrack opens up with a romantic number in the voice of Sonu Nigam and Suzy Q. Sonu delivers with aplomb. Suzy Q provides an ample support. The lyrics are spongy. So is the music. Go for it.
Rating: 7/10
2): Soniye Billori (Sonu Nigam and Suzy Q)
Next comes, ‘Soniye Billori’ and this time again Sonu and Suzy come behind the mike. Sonu attracts and Suzy too impresses. A heavy number with bhangra beats, it has average lyrics and poorly composed music. Just give it one hearing or leave it.
Rating: 2.5/10
3): Soniye Billori – Remix Version
The remix version further spoils the magic.
Rating: 1/10
4): Aasman Jhuk Gaya (Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal)
Shaan and the sugary voice Shreya Ghoshal team up to render ‘Aasman Jhuk Gaya’. The singers do their jobs with brilliance but the lyrics appear lackluster. The composition too seems unimpressive.
Rating: 2.5/10
5): Jashn Hai Josh Hai (Alisha Chinai, Neeraj Sridhar and Wajid)
Follows next on album is ‘Jashn Hai Josh Hai’ carrying the trio of Alisha Chinai, Neeraj Sridhar and Wajid (of Sajid-Wajid). Vocalists deliver the goods with ease. The track seems like ‘Mehbooba’ song of Sholay movie, as the instrumentation and music appears like that. As for the lyrics and music, they send the graph of the number downwards.
Rating: 2/10
6): Tere Bina Lagta Nahin (Wajid)
Wajid once again tries his hand at singing and yes impresses with the style of voice. The theme of the track is that the lover is missing his love and becomes sad. This sad song has good lyrics and heart-warming composition. Well, after many failed attempts to allure the listeners, this good song has come to rescue of the album.
Rating: 7/10
7): Bin Tere Mar Javan Mein (Shreya Ghoshal)
The sugary sweet Shreya Ghoshal makes appearance once again and trills this number, ‘Bin Tere Mar Javan Mein’. She essays the task brilliantly. The tables beats gel well with the mood. The lyrics are well written and the music is a treat.
Rating: 7/10
8): Kal Kissne Dekha (Shaan and Shreya Ghoshal)
The title song emerges now with Shaan being the main singer of the track. He croons with conviction. Shreya Ghoshal sings some portions of the song and allures the listeners. High beats and rap sounds inject more pleasures in the song’s ambience.
Rating: 7.5/10
9): Kal Kissne Dekha – Club Remixed Version
This remix version winds up the album. The disco beats, wrapped in this song, lure the souls. A good way to conclude the soundtrack.
Rating: 7/10
Conclusion:
The album cannot be claimed good or bad. It is an average soundtrack having some catchy and at the same time some mundane numbers. A mixed bag…
Overall Rating: 5/10
