Aamir’s complaints about media were truly justified by the facts presented by him recent interview with our RS correspondent Tony.
According to Aamir, media has projected a lot of things the way they were not to be. He gave an example of his own film Mangal Pandey. Aamir said, “The media openly declared that the film was a flop. They went on to say that Mangal Pandey was the biggest flop of the century.”
“The truth is that the collections of Lagaan in the first week were historic. All I would say is that the film made much better business than the ‘declared’ hits in the same year,” he stated.
