ASA Productions launches its music company ASA Music…
 ASA Productions is the banner, which last year gave a blockbuster Vikram Bhatt’s 1920 and also released the film, ‘Mumbai Salsa’. This mammoth banner is geared up to release more seven films now (including one in Tamil) over the next twelve months. Now the banner has launched its music label as well named ASA Music. This music company is all set to be a full-fledged music abode on the music scene.
Vikram Bhatt, the man behind this colossal abode of ASA Productions, is certain that there are mammoth opportunities spread in the music front today, which are being ignored mostly by the existing music companies in India. He admits that though the music business is going through a trying period these days, nonetheless according to him, one can do a lot because there is immense scope in this area of entertainment. Vikram thinks that one should be focused to new ideas and adapt new technology.
Suresh Thomas, a renowned name in the field of promotions of music and talents, has been roped in on board to head this operation of ASA Music.
ASA Music’s focus would be on releasing every kind of music (film albums and other music albums) for their own movies and also for other banner’s films. The soundtracks, which are ready to hit the stands by this label, are for Pt. Bhimsen Joshi, Pt. Hariprasad Chaurasia, Pt. Tarun Bhattacharya, and Pt. Vishwamohan Bhatt. Some of the albums are based on the catchy and soul-arresting concepts like Music Therapy, Music for Mental Piece and Rare Ragas by the maestros.
Pop music and other music stuff for youth is also under consideration of ASA Music.
