EXCLUSIVE REVIEW BY HANUMANT BHANSALI

Produced under the banners of Siddhi Vinayak Creations, ‘The Train’ happens to be a romantic thriller based on love, deception and commitment. The film has been directed by the duo of Raksha Mistry and Hasnain S Hyderabadwala. The film stars Emraan Hashmi, Geeta Basra and debutante Sayali Bhagat in pivotal roles.

Belonging to the genre of thriller, ‘The Train’ certainly reaches its station without jumping any signals. The film is a logical culmination of sub plots which deal with varied emotions in the film.

As most of the thrillers do, this one too is largely inspired by the Hollywood thriller Derailed, which starred Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston in the lead. The film also inculcates the plot of Bezubaan, where a blackmailer makes life hell for a married person.
