Mahim Mittal, Kirshan Kumar, Asit Mittal and Sandeep Gupta churn out the flick titled ‘Coffee House’ under the banner, ‘Shivkala Motion Pictures and Marwah Studios’. Directed by Gurbir Singh Grewal, the film stars the likes of Ashutosh Rana, Saakshi Tanwar, Paintal, Vrajesh Heerji, Hemant Pandey, Harsh Chhaya, Vinod Nagpal, Javed Khan, S.M. Zaheer, Neha Mishra and Aman Dhaliwal.
Storyline:
The movie talks about a common place called Coffee House. At this place, people from different walks of life come and sit. They are of the view that they all are same. At this juncture, these people discuss the political and social issues, while chewing up the matters, they think that their problems and happiness come from the same source.
A social rapport develops between the people come to this coffee house. Then a series of events takes place. Mostly who come at this place are youngsters, unemployed persons and the senior citizens who are spending retired life. These people from different walks of life find that their real aim is same so they think that they are same.
They moor the belts to fight for their causes. The political figures out there sensing this do not want them to unite and be together. As a result, the visitors of this coffee house have to face the tough situations. The flick shows how the people, who do not know each other initially, start developing a soft corner for each other once they begin to sit together at this place.
The movie is laced with emotions, humour and inspiration.
Some Facts:
The shooting of the movie has been completed in just 27 days. Ashotosh Rana is appearing on the silver screen after a long hiatus of years. The director of the film has been showing his skills of churning out television shows and Punjabi films like ‘Mannat’. His popular TV soap was ‘Neem Ka Ped’.
Other Credits:
Jaidev Kumar is the composer of the songs whereas Mahim Mittal has written the lyrics. Longines Fernandez has done the choreography.
