WHAT: STARS OF ‘THE TRAIN’ UNVEIL GNER TRAIN, WELCOMING IIFA TO YORKSHIRE
WHEN/WHERE:13.00-13.15, WEDNESDAY 6th JUNE, KING’S CROSS STATION, LONDON
The cast and crew members of the forthcoming film, The Train, including stars Emraan Hashmi Geeta Basra and Sayali Bhagat, will unveil a specially commissioned IIFA image on a GNER train, taking the stars of IIFA to Yorkshire, on Wednesday 6th June.
The train unveiling ceremony will take place between 13.00 and 13.15. It will be hosted by Jonathan Metcalfe, Chief Executive of GNER, and Judith Donovan CBE, Chairman of Yorkshire Tourist Board.
Please note that all media attending this event must arrive by 12.15 at GNER reception, Platform 8, King’s Cross station, to sign-in and receive a safety briefing.
In the run-up to the IIFA (International Indian Film Academy) Weekend from 7th –10th June 2007, that will bring 600 luminaries and the accompanying glamour, action and excitement of the Indian film industry, to the host region of Yorkshire, over 100 IIFA celebrities will travel on GNER’s high speed train services to Yorkshire, including some of the biggest names in Indian cinema.
