Star Plus’s popular family saga Saarthi gives a new reason to celebrate for its team and viewers; it completes 400 mind blowing episodes! Appearing at the 2.30 pm afternoon slot, Saarrthi is the story of two families, their struggle with each other, their power play, their aspirations and the common dream of being the biggest corporate successes. In other words it’s a modern family drama inspired by the age old epic ‘The Mahabharat’, a fact also made clear by the frequent appearance of Lord Krishna who is the Sutradhar of story that’s relived everyday of our lives.
The reason it’s appealed to the viewers is because it’s the eternal classic tale of the good versus the bad, the right against the evil, with the Mahabharata touch to it with Lord Krishna guiding the protagonist. All the principal characters are beautifully written and well etched and hence have been accepted by the viewers.
Asit H Modi , of Neela Telefilms, the producer of the show is excited and proud at the same time on this great achievement. Says the elated producer, “Establishing 400 episodes is an achievement in itself in today’s age. If you see many of the other shows on TV, most of them don’t run for so long. On an average, shows go on for around 200- 250 episodes. We have a strong creative team and a good channel support.
Star Plus knows what will work on TV and they have supported and co-operated with us a lot. I’m quite thankful to them. If it was not for the creative team and the actors and the channel which has supported us whole heartedly I don’t think Saarrthi would have completed 400 episodes! After this small milestone, we are raring to go.”
Starring Karan Grover and Neha Devi Singh in the lead roles, aong with Nawab Shah, Adita wahi, Savita Prabhune, S.M Zaheer, Dharmesh Vyas, and Mickky Dudhaney, it looks like Saarthi is not just going to stop at 400 but is well on its way for more. saarthi when started wasstanding apart from other shows but now it is following the same trend it is becomingsame women oriented crapy dailly soap with the same plots like serogate mother and all it is becoming to boaring it is now standing in the row of saasbahu serials .i think asti modi should seriouslly think about there story i think the serial has lost its path of being based on an epic. moreover the wholestory linehas become too out dated. theactors seriouslly needa make over especially neha devi singh two actors haveall of a sudden disappeared.i think ifmr modidon’t doany thing about the storyline they willend in 20 yearleap andshowing young actors as old that destroys the whole story. saarthi is nomore better then others infact by copyingthe same plotsit is getting more worse.
