Beginning June1, for the first time the viewers will experience a week long Piano Round, a non- stop musical extravaganza for nine nights continuously.

This is the first time ever that Indian Idol enters the Piano Round. Each day the viewers will see the performance of 14 girls and 14 boys, appearing on alternate days.

American Idol used a similar format in the last season, and the musical find of the season was Sanjaya Malakar.
