There, Rocky lands in Dubai and Moscow Chikna instructs Choubey to kidnap Rocky and get hold of the diamond. Chaubey and his team gets in trouble when they try to rob J.D’s men, but end up with nothing. Things take a turnaround and they finally kidnap Rocky and take him to their junk shop. Moscow Chikna shoots Rocky and flees away with the diamond, leaving the body there.
J.D gets hold of Chaubey and his gang and instructs them to get the diamond from Moscow Chikna. The story takes a comical twirl when Chowski lands up in Dubai and hires G9 (Jackie Shroff) to find his missing brother.
The film works in parts, as I earlier mentioned. The first half is visually appealing and the scenes are added with glamour and gloss. Johnny Lever helps the things moving. His scene with Ayesha Takia in the car, where her dog is swallowing the mobile is crazy and crackling. Later, the not so good handling of 200 characters in the film leaves the viewer dejected.
Ahmed Khan’s direction fails here as he went on to present the masala quotient to the viewers without thinking about the characterization and plot. Truly speaking, Ahmed Khan has lost a golden opportunity as he had everything working in his way – fantastic starcast, rocking music, good marketing, etc but lost out on the writing aspect. The film will recover its money, thanks to the good marketing but it won’t set the box office on fire.
