Recently, Shah Rukh Khan launched a new brand of alcohol in India, Masterstroke. I managed to catch up with Shah Rukh Khan after the event and took an opportunity to ask him a few questions on drinking.
On asked whether this move of his will motivate youngsters to drink, he said “I request the young boys and girls not to drink. Truly speaking, I myself do not drink. The younger generation must not consume alcohol and they should not do so even after they mature into adults.”
I wondered what the company officials had to say about this as Shah Rukh was demotivating people rather than promoting them to consume the brand he endorses.
