About a couple of years ago Amit was completely out of work. The phase was really tough for Amit as he says, “There were moments when I wanted to die and tried suicide quite a few times. I would think of jumping into the sea and never come back again.”
Career wise, Amit Behl is out of the telly show Mamta, reason a 20 years leap in the serial. According to Amit, “I am not ready to essay the role of an 85 year old man. Anyways, I am playing 55 right now.”
“In any case, they have put me on a coma in the serial. Hence, it is easier for them to bump me off.”
