‘Tanhaiyaan’ initiated the promos of Aap Kaa Surroor and it also happens to be the best song of the soundtrack. It sounds different as Himesh croons ‘Tanhaiyaan’ as ‘Tanhaiieeyaan’. The rhythm is well set and is a rare blend of westernized arrangements with catchy beats. Sunidhi too adds a new dimension by her rendition. Tanhaiyaan will be liked by all Himesh Reshammiya’s fans, which are aplenty. To me, it is just another number from the kitty of Himesh. But as they say, you can love him or hate but it is impossible to ignore him. Overall, check out the track for its unconventional scale.

Ya Ali is cool and hip and adds to the overall atmosphere set by Aap Kaa Surroor. It definitely manages to leave an impact when you hear it once. Sameer’s lyrics are repetitive in this one. Himesh and Sunidhi croon with a seductive punch in this one. Of course, there is a remix version and an electro mix waiting for you.

Tere Bina starts with the tune of Himesh’s previous track, ‘Aap Kaa Surroor’ from his superhit album. Tere Bina is a sad song with a right mix of melody and restrained singing. It manages to hold on to the listener’s interest.

Kya Jeena is aimed at the masses, who will like the hard core nasal rendition by Himesh Reshammiya. The song carries a semi classical flavour with a lot of Indian instruments playing in the background. The remix version can be easily given a rating of zero.

Himesh Reshammiya was earlier supposed to compose music for Ram Gopal Varma Ki Sholay. Later, the music director was replaced due to unknown reasons. Composed by Himesh Reshammiya, ‘Mehbooba’ comes across as a remixed version of the original track from the original Sholay with the added innovation of Himesh which sounds like ‘Ae Saala’. Himesh Reshammiya croons with co-singer Asha Bhosle and the result is going to make you sulk…Nothing else.
