UTV has ambitious plans to re-launch its 2006 hit Rang De Basanti in English as a crossover release in the international market. The original title of the film will be changed to Colour of Sacrifice.

After the success of The Namesake, many Bollywood production houses are looking forward to participate in the global trend of movie making.

The film will be released with limited prints and in the areas where the Hindi original has gained popularity.
