Red Swastik is a name which offers a lot of skin shows and showers of kiss covered in the light of ‘different kind of subject’. Red Swastik is being publicized as a psychological thriller. The music of the film is composed by Shamir Tandon, John Hunt and Ashutosh Pathak. The lyrics are penned by Vinod Pandey and Ashutosh Pathak. I personally could not bear the soundtrack and would not recommend it to anyone. It is like some hammering your head with tunes and words.
Sadiyon Ki Pyass (Singers: Rekha Bhardwaj, Shabab Sabri)
Rating: 3/10
‘Namak Ishq Ka’ was a classic shot by Rekha Bhardwaj. She renders her voice here in ‘Sadiyon Ki Pyaas’ which is composed by Shamir Tandon and written by Vinod Pandey. The song is an ultra bore with the complex words of Vinod Pandey. The tune is an added disadvantage though it is a fusion of western arrangements and classical music. Shabab Sabri too gets a few lines to croon but he too is forgettable.
Sadiyon Ki Pyaas – Remix Version (Singers: Prabhati Mukherjee, Shabab Sabri, Clinton Cerejo)
Rating:3/10
The music industry is going crazy and the upcoming music composers are to be blamed as they are losing out on quality by including a club version or a remix version of every second track. This one is as horrendous as its original version.
Rakth Rakth (Singer: Shafqat Ali Khan)
Rating: 2/10
Okay, this one too has a remix version and both are thrown out of the blue. The song boasts of weird lyrics such as ‘Rakth Hi Pooja Hai…Rakth Hi Maryada Hai’. The remaining faults lie in the musical arrangements which is a fusion (rather diffusion) of western and Indian music. The song moves at a brisk pace but comes across as a noisy and worthless hearing.
Thee Zindagi Bas Wohi (Singer: John, Ashutosh)
Rating: 3/10
It is interesting to see that the whole lot of music directors teaming up to compose a soundtrack which has all flavours to kill a person’s interest in music. ‘Thee Zindagi Bas Wohi’ belongs to the rock genre and has a bit of bass effect to get the punch feel. The voices of John and Ashutosh are subdued by the loud music.
Yeh Jo Tera Shahar (Singer: Bhupinder Singh)
Rating: 4/10
‘Yeh Jo Tera Shahar’ gets me what I was looking for, the end of the soundtrack. Well, to begin with, the song is well written but the tune is extremely slow and boring. It will take some courage for one to listen to this track.
Radiosargam Soundtrack Rating: 2.5/10
