The 22-year-old young music composer Mithoon has apparently hit the right note by rendering his voice for ‘Woh Ajnabee’ and ‘Mausam’. Both the songs have turned out to be hits.
One of our RS correspondents caught up with the composer and Mithoon grabbed this opportunity to confess, “You won’t believe it but I had never thought of being a singer, at least not for ‘Mausam’. I had done a scratch version of ‘Mausam’ and gave it to the directors Raksha Mistry and Hasnain Hyderabadwala since they needed it urgently for the film’s shoot.”
“Later, as we looked out for singers, no one could convince the directors and me. Hence, we went along with my version of the track.”
