Sajid Nadiadwala’s upcoming blockbuster ‘Jaan-e-mann’ is already well in news not only in India but also across the globe. Now this flick got under some controversy i.e. the film was to be screened at the closing ceremony of the prestigious South Asian Film Festival (SAIFF) but it did not happen.
When contacted the filmmaker and the producers, they clarify the matter, “Yes, that’s true that there were talks of the film to be screened at the prestigious festival on October 8th. But then it was mutually decided not to go ahead because it would be too early keeping in mind the Indian release date is 20th October”.
Mr. Blockbuster – Sajid Nadiadwala’s ‘Jaan-e-mann’ is already being rated ‘a runaway success’ prior to release and it is because he makes the films with CONTENT that is mostly missing in today’s Hindi films. The audience is anxiously waiting for the film to come out in theaters for their pleasures. This helps the maker proud and cheerful. And now Sajid has tied up with UFO Miviez to distribute the film digitally to 500 cinemas thus ensuring that even the B & C centres get to see the movie on the worldwide release date.
On the controversy Sajid clears the doubts, “Yeah its true that earlier we had talks to screen the film at the prestigious SAIFF, but than we mutually decided not to go ahead since it would be a bit early and would only be fair if everyone gets to see the film on the worldwide release date.”
Wait a bit…the film is ready to ignite the screens on this Eid/Diwali occasions.
