Cast: Amitabh Bachchan, Shah Rukh Khan, Juhi Chawla, Satish Shah, Rajpal Yadav, Aman Siddiqui (child artiste)
Director: Vivek Sharma
Producer: Ravi Chopra
Music Director: Vishal-Shekhar
Co-produced by Studio 18 and B R Films, Bhootnath is directed by Vivek Sharma. The music of the film is composed by the Ta Ra Rum Pum duo Vishal-Shekhar. The film stars the two biggest superstars of Hindi Film Industry. All the allegations and rumours about rivalry between Amitabh Bachchan and Shah Rukh Khan are proved wrong as they join in to act in Bhootnath.
According to our RS correspondents, the two have actually given the nod to work together as they have only a few scenes together. Bachchan and SRK will hardly share any screen space, except for the climax sequence in the supernatural film. Apparently, mortal beings cannot see Bhootnath and so Amitabh will not be visible to Shahrukh Khan. This might be a conscious move on the part of the production house to avoid any friction between the actors.
Bhootnath comes across as a charismatic and endearing saga of friendship between a kid and a spirit. Shahrukh Khan and Juhi Chawla play a couple who move into their new house – the Nath Villa, in Goa, with their son Banku. Unfortunately, a ghost (Amitabh Bachchan) awaits them in the house, who is not happy with his new companions.
Banku befriends the eerie spirit and begins his search for the reason due to which his friend Bhootnath has not attained salvation.
This will be a certain treat to watch…Isn’t it?

AB as ghost very good idia as nothing else he can be next to SRK. . . He cant compe to king of bollywood invisible it just make Srk more happier . . .
i think a very average and loosely knit movie where the director is trying to say too many things in a given time. the music sucks. the only good sequence and a song is while the moksh of bhoot scene. i wish the director had worked and chipped and sculpted the story a little more.
sure shot flop as the story and direction is very average and predictable.
