Sony Entertainment Television Asia is pleased to announce the premiere of Rohit Shetty’s 2006 hit comedy, Golmaal, Sunday, October 22nd at 8:00 pm EST. Families will be rolling in their living rooms as they laugh their way through this hilarious film starring Ajay Devgan, Arshad Warsi, Sharman Joshi, and Tusshar Kapoor.
Golmaal is the goofy tale of four college buddies, Gopal (Ajay Devgan), the leader of the pack, Madhoo (Arshad Warsi), the opportunist, Laxman (Sharman Joshi), the shy one, and Lucky (Tusshar Kapoor), the wily mute. Their wacky antics end up getting them kicked out of college, so they find refuge in the home of an elderly blind couple. The couple’s grandson is away in the United States and they are longing for his return, so the foursome pretends to be him, with Laxman being the body and Gopal being the voice.
During the course of the movie, the foursome falls in love and tries to woo their beautiful next-door neighbor, Nirali (Rimi Sen), using quite interesting antics. At one point, the college dean comes to visit and Gopal and Madhoo have to impersonate the elderly couple. The foursome also has to fend off a henchman who is sent to steal a treasure chest believed to be hidden in the house.
