UTV buys the rights of Karan Johar’s projects…
Kjo’s films are what considered to be family oriented ones. And in addition to this, he also injects some masala to get the viewers glued to the screens. The man knows the art well, which is why he succeeds with his films. And if he does not completely, his films nonetheless do business. This is what Karan Johar is all about. Now the big banner UTV Motion Pictures want to buy the rights of his films.
UTV Motion Pictures have bought the rights of Karan Johar’s two upcoming films for Rs. 60 crores. The movies, which rights have been taken by UTV are – ‘Wake Up Sid’ and Rensil D’ Silva’s untitled film.
The rights of his well in talks upcoming film, ‘My Name is Khan’ have not been sold to anyone, though he was approached for the same. Karan wants to do the distribution under his banner.
