54th Idea Filmfare Awards to go on air exclusively on Sony TV on 8th March….
A few days back, Bollywood’s biggest awards’ function 54th Idea Filmfare Awards took place in Mumbai. The event was the most sought-after affair with the who’s who of the Hindi film industry present at the swanky night in full attendance. Imran Khan and Ranbir Kapoor played the perfect hosts of the occasion and greeted everyone (biggie or small) with the gesture … Pairi Pauna. Co-hosts Konkona Sen Sharma and Ranbir’s sexy girlfriend Deepika Padukone further soared the glamour quotient of the night.
The evening began with a boisterous note when Farhan Akhtar along with the musicians Shankar and Loy played the tracks from the six awards winning movie, ‘Rock On’. The first dance performance was from the new heartthrob on Bollywood block Jackie Bhagnani, who danced on his film’s track (Kal Kissne Dekha). Then there emerged other scintillating performances from other Bollywood’s stars. The milky beauty very sexy Katrina Kaif gave jhatkas on the number of ‘Singh is King’. Abhishek Bachchan performed on groovy sounds of ‘Delhi-6’. The dusky sexy beauty Bipasha Basu and Neil Nitin sent chills through the audiences’ bodies with their performance on the electrifying number, ‘Aa Dekhen Zara’.
Sony TV has been associated with the Filmfare Awards for several years and this time too the channel has planned to make this event a glittering experience for its viewers.
The stars who walked down the red carpet starting with Javed Akhtar with wife Shabana Azmi …followed by another array of shining stars who made this night an affair to remember! The others who adorned the occasion were: Shah Rukh Khan (who looked cool with the sling around his shoulder, post the shoulder surgery) with wife Gauri Khan, John-Bipasha, AR Rahman, Amitabh Bachchan, Abhishek Bachchan with wife Aishwarya Rai, Tabu, Asha Bhosle, Kareena with beau Saif Ali Khan, and many more from the glamour brigade.
