Shadow Catcher Entertainment’s Outsourced is the production of Tom Gorai and directed by John Jeffcoat. The film stars Josh Hamilton, Ayesha Dharker, Asif Basra, Matt Smith, Feroz and Harish Chandra.
Storyline:
It’s a story of a call center in India. At that center, an American arrives to teach the Indian employees to make calls and handle them in a pure American accent. The film also pours light on the cross culture conflict and romance that emerges between an Indian girl and an American at the call center.
Todd Anderson, who works in an American call center and his work revolves around the American novelty products in Seattle. One fine day, his job is outsourced in India. But he feels insulted after these new changes in his work. The changes are that he has to teach the Indian call center workers to speak English in American accent.
Todd hates to land in India and does not want to get himself adjusted to the new culture that he does not like because it is different from his own. But destiny has something else is store for him and he lands in Mumbai where he witnesses the crowd. Now his duty is to teach the callers in pure American accent. And he has to make them know cheese head hat and equipments like hot dog toaster. He is in a hurry to improve the call center workers in India so that he can immediately return to his homeland. Amidst all, a twist in the tale oozes out when he feels something lovely inside him for a girl (Asha) at the call center.
