13. Shiamak Davar: The immensely talented choreographer made his Bollywood debut in Yash Raj’s Dil To Pagal Hai and scaled greater heights in the coming years. Shiamak Davar became a brand name in India and went on to open dance school across the country. He even choreographed brilliant dance numbers in films like Taal, Kisna, Bunty aur Babli, I See You and Dhoom 2.

14. Kamal Hassan: 10 years of down south film excellence

The versatile and highly talented actor has nearly four decades of film career to his credit with films in 6 languages doing well at the box office. The actor experimented with his skills as a film-maker in the 90’s and made some memorable films in Tamil. Hailed as the biggest superstar and only next to Rajnikant, Kamal Hassan has tried his hand at direction, scripting, screenplay and special effects. The year 1997 saw him play the comic character of Chachi in the highly acclaimed Chachi 420 His convincing act of a female brought him a lot of fame. Post-Chachi 420, Kamal’s next film Hey Ram was a box office failure. Thereafter, Hassan concentrated on Tamil films solely and has delivered many critically acclaimed films and has received many honours and awards for his stupendous contribution to Indian cinema. He will be awarded with the title of ‘Living Legend” by the FICCI in 2007.

15. Mahima Chaudhary: Ghai’s muse to a non-existent actress

In the 1997, came a beautiful model to debut in Bollywood under the prestigious Mukta Arts banner opposite King Khan in the hit film, Pardes. Thereafter, Mahima Chaudhary has yet to achieve such a success again in her career. She ended up playing second fiddle or another heroine in the multi-starrer projects like Dil Kya Kare, Daag, Dhadkan, Lajja, Om Jai Jagdish, Dil Hai Tumhara, Kuch Meetha Ho Jaye, Home Delivery, Kudiyon Ka Hai Zamana and the Sarhad Paar. Mahima was kept busy due to her past relationship with ex-beau Leander Paes and is now hunting for better projects to fall into her kitty. All the best with that, Mahima!
